Mr. Zvirevo is a Chartered Accountant with extensive professional experience spanning financial services, investment banking and development finance, acquired through working in various leadership roles. He brings hands-on experience in business case development, investment appraisal, project finance, capital raising and alternative investments.
He has previously served in middle and senior managerial positions for KPMG Corporate Finance, NMB Bank Limited, Sagit Finance House Limited, and AMG Global Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe) where he headed the firm's Corporate Finance practice. Prior to joining the IDBZ, Mr. Zvirevo spent 7 years in the Cayman Islands, gaining specialized alternative investments experience while working for the Citco Group, the world's largest hedge fund administrator. This international tenure provided him with deep insights into alternative investment platforms, including fund structures, investment strategies, and complex financial products.
Prior to his appointment as the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Zvirevo was the IDBZ’s Director for Resource Mobilisation and Climate Finance, responsible for driving the Bank’s resource mobilisation strategy which encompasses capitalisation initiatives, project financing, debt issuance programmes, strategic partnerships, and climate finance initiatives.
