RECRUITMENT POLICY
The purpose of the Recruitment Policy within the Human Resources Strategy is to ensure that the Infrastructure and Development Bank of Zimbabwe (IDBZ) sources and selects the best possible candidates with the pre-requisite core competencies to meet its business needs, (i.e. the right Human Capital with the right skills for the right jobs). The Policy seeks to ensure that key positions are filled with the appropriate skills in line with Labour regulations of Zimbabwe.

To apply various effective and efficient recruitment methods in sourcing the best possible talent and have a wide range of potential candidates to choose and select from at minimum costs
Objectives
The general objective of the policy is to ensure that the Infrastructure and Development Bank of Zimbabwe sources and selects best possible talent to meet its business needs through the use of varied effective recruitment methods

Selection Methods
The Bank’s selection criteria will be based solely on the inherent requirements and competencies required for the job. The Bank uses the following methods:

- Panel interviews
- Performance tests
- Reference checking
- Security checks
